Lauren Faith.
Lauren was a student with us here at Derby YMS for a number of years.
After developing her composition talents on one of our keyboard courses and honing her vocal technique with our vocal teacher; Lauren moved to London to cement herself as an innovative and boundary-pushing artist/producer.
There is no doubt that the performance opportunities presented by Derby YMS have helped her develop her craft and become the superstar she is today!
Some of Lauren's career highlights so far include collaborating with Craig David to write the song - "Got It Good." This song featured on Craig David's sixth studio album entitled - "Following My Intuition." Lauren also supported Craig David on his critically acclaimed UK arena tour.

The song received critical acclaim and support from the likes of Pitchfork, EARMILK and Complex, and winning fans amongst DJs like Radio 1’s Annie Mac and stations Radio 1 Xtra, Beats 1 and Rinse FM. This was followed by her Cosmic EP which featured two of Lauren’s own productions ‘DMT’ and ‘Searching’ alongside ‘Jheeze’, a collaboration with Kaytranada."
