Drum Encounters is a fun and innovative way to learn and play drums, designed to take the student from beginner to an advanced level. Open to anyone from the age of eight, Drum Encounters is ideal for those seriously considering a musical career and also for those who just want to relieve stress that's built up over the day.

The course combines the best elements of traditional one-on-one drum lessons with a creative, modern approach, resulting in unrivalled quality of teaching.

Drum Encounters offers a unique way to learn by  teaching students in a group setting. Giving the students the chance to interact with fellow musicians and play as part of an ensemble. Nothing matches the exhilaration of eight people drumming simultaneously!

All lessons are structured with multiple activities including technique, reading, writing, playing and developing the skills to become a 'jobbing drummer'.

Drum Encounters also follows a fully accredited Rockschool exam syllabus which will take the student from beginner to Grade 8 standard and beyond!

As a member of Drum Encounters, you'll learn to play in a state-of-the-art Yamaha drum studio, using the best Yamaha drums and practice pads. For those who don't have a kit at home, Drum Encounters will be the highlight of the week! It'll give you all the skills you need to bring the beat to your band!
